My Story ~ Justis Frawley

I’ve been hunting for as long as I can remember, but waterfowl hunting quickly became my biggest passion. There’s something different about the early mornings, setting decoys in the dark, watching the sunrise over the water, and making memories with friends and family that keeps me coming back every season.

Fallen Feathers Hat Co. started because I wanted hunting apparel that looked just as good in everyday life as it did in the marsh. I was tired of hats that either had giant logos, poor quality, or didn’t represent the lifestyle I was passionate about. What started as an idea to make a few hats for myself turned into a brand built for hunters who live the lifestyle year-round.

Every design is inspired by real hunts and the species we chase. Before a hat ever makes it to the website, it’s worn in the field, in duck blinds, on turkey hunts, on fishing trips, and through everyday life. If it can’t hold up to the conditions we hunt in, it doesn’t earn the Fallen Feathers name.

At the end of the day, Fallen Feathers isn’t just about selling hats. It’s about representing a community of outdoorsmen and women who appreciate early mornings, conservation, tradition, and making memories outdoors. My goal is to build a brand that hunters are proud to wear whether they’re in the marsh, at work, or around town.
